Advance Trader’s hooked us up with the Race Face DH riser bar a while back and it’s time for a few words on it’s performance.

The DH Riser has been doing duties on my do everything hardtail for the last few month or so and has impressed me from the moment I put it on.

The bar was easy to install and had a rise and sweep I felt comfortable with right away. A few adjustments to my headset spacers, put me in a perfect riding position and the bike was ready to go.

Since then I’ve ridden downhill trails, dirt jumps and skate parks with the DH Risers and the bars have felt great for all of them. I’d probably trim them down an inch or so for a dedicated jump / street bike but for me, the stock width achievs a good balance between stability for downhill and maneuverability for street and trails.

The bars have never made a groan in protest or given any signs of being anything but a tough product.

They’re everything you could possibly want in a handlebar really; comfortable, strong and good at allowing you to control the direction your front wheel is pointing. Get your LBS to give Advance Traders a call
